Sergeant Jonathan J. Bixby (JJ) began with the RCSD in 2004. Previous to that, Sergeant Bixby worked as a Patrol Officer and Corporal at the Brandon Police Department.

Sergeant Bixby deployed to Iraq in 2005 with the Vermont National Guard and returned to the RCSD in 2007.

Sergeant Bixby has worked several positions while with the RCSD including the Support Services Sergeant and Patrol Sergeant positions. He has most recently been assigned as a school resourse deputy at the Mill River Union High School.

Sergeant Bixby is currently on deployment again and is scheduled to serve in Afganistan beginning in April 2010. We wish Sergeant Bixby a safe return and are proud to have him serve our Country.
