Deputy Bennick began with the RCSD in 2005 as a part-time Deputy. He was hired as a full-time deputy shortly there after and was assigned as the Rutland District Court Officer.

In 2008 Deputy Bennick transfered to the patrol division where he worked a variety of functions.

Deputy Bennick graduated from the 88th Basic Academy for Police Professionals in the fall of 2009.

Deputy Bennick is currently assigned to the Clarendon and Wallingford patrol contracts.
