Deputy 1/C Chris Stephenson entered law enforcement in 2008. He worked for the Fair Haven Police Department for a short time before being hired by the Rutland County Sheriffs Office in 2010.

Deputy Chris Stephenson has a back ground in emergency medicine, including being an EMT with Fair Haven Rescue. Deputy Chris Stephenson is currently assigned as a general duties deputy.
