CHARGES: (DUI) Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol - Title 23 VSA 1201

DESCRIPTION: On the above date and time, Corporal Ricketts was at the address of 16 Willow Street in the Town of Proctor investigating a separate incident. When Casey Blaisdell arrived at this address, Corporal Ricketts observed several indicators of impairment from Blaisdell. As a result he was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests which he failed to perform satisfactorily.

Blaisdell was placed under arrest and was transported to the Rutland City Police Department for processing. During processing, Blaisdell provided an evidentiary breath sample above the legal limit of alcohol in the State of Vermont. Blaisdell was later released to a sober adult on a citation to appear at the Rutland Superior Court - Criminal Division on July 1st 2024 at 1000 hours to answer to the charge of DUI.
