Incident: Arrest Unlawful Trespass/Retail Theft

Description:

On 08/20/2011 the accused was observed by a member of the RCSD at the Diamond Run Mall who the accused had a notice of trespass and consequently arrested him for trespassing.

On 09/19/2011 a member of the RCSD was called by an off-duty deputy advising of a male subject he observed that had just taken a jacket from J.C. Penney.

The male subject was located walking north in front of Shearer Honda. The male subject was stopped and identified as the accused. He was found to be in possession of the stolen jacket and a stolen pair of shoes from J.C. Penny. A total of $170 dollars of J.C. Penney merchandise was recovered and returned to J.C. Penney.

The accused was issued a citation for both incidents to appear in Rutland Superior Court Criminal Division to answer to the above charges.
