Sgt. Cross began with the RCSD in 2002. He has served many functions with the RCSD including serving in the patrol division, court division, the MERT Team, and as a DUI enforcement officer.

Currently Sgt. Cross is assigned a position with Governors Highway Safety Program and also serves as the Patrol Commander for RCSD.
